PITTSBURGH'S
Spiciest
REALITY SHOW
See How

Became
"Smokey Business is a reality show currently being rolled out locally in Pittsburgh, PA, on the CW network. Having received an overwhelming response from the city of Pittsburgh, the captivating, unscripted family business wants to take the show to the next level. Everything about this show is amazingly hot and spicy, and we are not only talking about the food. The show is just like being home in grandma's kitchen. This family based cast allows viewers to take a deeper look into what it means to run a successful, Black owned, and operated business."
Linda Banks is determined to make Q & M Sauces (Her beloved Late Father & Step-Mother’s recipe) a household brand. Her plan is to merchandize the sauces until a major food player makes her an offer, and also to drive the brand through a fleet of Food Trucks and franchised stores (placed throughout the country.) As if her task isn’t daunting enough, she must attempt to accomplish her dream while enduring the harsh realities and tragedies of her life. Linda and her fellow cast members have endured a lot of pain and sadness, but have always found a way to rise up through love, soul, togetherness, and yes, food.

This is a story of unity, of strength, of courage, of laughter, of love, of food and of soul,
and while the overall story of undaunting love and strength serves as the backbone
to the concept, there is still plenty of humor to be found in the
Smokey business goings-on that surrounds them all.
narrative of Smokey Business
is deeply representative of the call to RISE UP. Linda Banks is the hub around which the story evolves. Her story, like every member of the cast, is one of hardship and heart ache, but it’s also about overcoming the odds, against all odds, as a modern family of people who rely on and need one another as they help to make sense of the world.
